Antique Bakery

December 11, 2011

so i was bored (and my head was throbbing from last night -,-) so i decided to watch a korean movie :D i went to MySoju.com and randomly selected a movie, which turned out GREAT! XD on the first pick! this movie's about a CAKE shop, and i really really REALLY wanna eat cake now! ^^ but the movie revolves around...erm, the chef being a homo -,- there's no HAMSUP scenes in the movie, but i think its kinda funny in a way XD it also revolves around the boss's past (he was KIDNAPPED) O.O the movie's entertaining for the whole 12 parts (i watched the movie in cuts on YouTube, as always) but the funny (and a bit risque scenes) are at part 6 to 7 and the suspenseful parts are parts 8 & 10! really though, a lot of people enjoyed this movie because of the CAKES! the main theme of this movie,  not the gay part okay -,- so please please PLEASE watch this and i hope you enjoy as much as i did! ^^

why i wanted to watch it was because i'm an ULTRA SUPER FAN if SKKS (Sungkyunkwan Scandal) a drama i watched last year, and, as you might have seen from might previous posts, am a big fan of Song Joong Ki and YOO AH IN!! ^^ he's the one at the bottom left corner of the poster in the pic above, holding the cupcake! ^^ another reason is that the chef, Min Sun-Woo (actor Kim Jae-Wook) looks EXACTLY like MICKY PARK YOOCHUN of JYJ/TVXQ (keep the faith! ><)!! another actor from SKKS! i was really surprised when i first saw him XD

YOO AH IN!!! ^^ how can you NOT watch a movie with this guy in it??

KIM JAE WOOK! doesn't he look like Yoochun?

MAIN CAST~ JJANG right? ^^

from MySoju.com:

As an heir to the family fortune, Jin-hyuk has money, the looks, the charm, everything except finding the love of his life. So he sets up a cake shop where women are sure to come. He hires Sun-woo, a talented patissier who had a crush on Jin-hyuk back in high school. Along with an ex-boxing champion Gi-beom and a clueless bodyguard Su-young, the four unique and handsome young men stir up the quiet neighborhood at their cake shop, Antique. Although seemingly careless and happy, each of the four men have unforgettable past that they are afraid to face, but their secrets slowly begin to unravel...

really really really enjoyed this movie, i had SMILES, GOOSEBUMPS and ANTICIPATION (was my use of that word right? o.o gotta improve my vocab) throughout the whole movie. i really really REALLY recommend it :D and extra info, the original was an japanese manga, then turned into a japanese anime, then turned into a japanese drama (i think) then turned into this korean movie. it's that good! XD
