PURITO Hyaluronic Acid 90 Serum Review

March 25, 2018

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog! In this post I'll be sharing about PURITO's Hyaluronic Acid 90 Serum.

This post is actually a part of a series of reviews, and if you'd like to read all of my Purito reviews, click here!

Purito stands for Purify +  (tu/soil), and it means to find the pure and safe wonders of nature found in our soil. They understand that Korean cosmetics are all the rage, but instead of relying on hype, they want to focus on ingredients that will benefit the skin. They focus on natural ingredients as well as having only EWG Green Level ingredients in their products.

So in December last year, a website called eopenmarket.com got in touch with me and asked if I would be interested in giving an honest review of this product. Just a disclaimer, I was not paid to give a good review, and although the products were given to me via PR, my thoughts on them will still be my honest ones as usual.

Without further ado, let's get on with the review!

This product is a 90% sodium hyaluronate serum that contains vitamin C + aloe extracts, and it's cruelty free + made with 90% natural ingredients. You guys would have noticed that sodium hyaluronate is used in a lot of ingredients, and that's because its a really powerful moisturizer. Since this serum contains 90% sodium hyaluronate liquid, I was curious to see how hydrating it would be.

It promises to:

  1. Keep skin moisturized & hydrated
  2. Make skin look younger & refined (anti-aging)
  3. Make skin soft & smooth

A 60ml bottle normally costs KRW18,000/USD17, but on eopenmarket.com it retails for only $12.68/RM49. I think the price is quite worth it for the amount of product you're getting.

Purito has quite a few serum variants, but all of them are packaged simiarly in a plastic pump bottle. I don't have any problems with it, but I do advise you guys to be careful when pumping out products as the pumps sometimes tend to be quite strong (all three Purito serums I have do this haha)

The ingredients in this product range from having an EWG rating of 1-3, which is still okay (click here to view the full list of ingredients).

As mentioned, it has 90% sodium hyaluronate liquid, so people with dry skin would really benefit from the moisture. It has powerful brightening ingredients (Niacinamide & Vitamin C) and people with sensitive skin might like this as well because of the skin soothing properties of the aloe vera extracts.

I made a video showing how I use these Purito products for my morning and night skincare routine, and you can watch it here:

I showed that I used this in my night routine, but I also sometimes alternate it in the morning. It has a thick, almost jelly-like texture that leaves a sticky, moisturized finish. I personally like using this under foundation because the stickiness helps with my base makeup application + the plumping & moisturization helps combat the dryness that poweder and matte foundations cause.

Among all 3 Purito serums I received this would have to be my fave. The snail one was meh, the vitamin C one was great (but came brown) but this was just 100% amazing from the first day I used it. I really like the richness of the serum and how full and plump my skin feels after applying this serum.

After using it for a while now, here's what I think on each of the product's claims:

  1. Keep skin moisturized & hydrated
Yup, I 100% agree with this. I did a Wayskin reading once and when I went to bed my moiture level was at 99%. When I woke up it was at 92%! Its really good at retaining moisture + keeping the skin hydrated.
  2. Make skin look younger & refined (anti-aging)
Because of how plumping it is to the skin, I think this is great for young people like me who need to start taking precautions against wrinkles. As for people who already do have wrinkles, I can't really speak for them but I think they'll like how firming/plumping/hydrating this serum is.
  3. Make skin soft & smooth
I did feel like it made my skin soft and smoother immediately after my 1st time using it. The day after I just felt super young and soft!

100% YES! For the price, I think I definitely found a hydration gem, and I really recommend you guys to get a bottle to try for yourself!

And that was it for this review! As I mentioned, I reviewed a lot of Purito products recently, and you can check the others out by clicking here. Remember to like the video I made as well & subscribe to my channel for more demos & skincare routine videos!

I hope you found this post helpful & informative. See y'all in the next post!
