Heimish Bulgarian Rose Water Mist Serum Review

March 15, 2018

Hi guys, today I'll be sharing about Heimish's Bulgarian Rose Water Mist Serum!

If you guys can remember, a few months back I reviewed Melvita's Pulpe De Rose Duo, and it's basically a face mist with 2x Wild Rose extract

I mentioned in that review that I don't really like rose scents, but after using the product for a while (as well as other rose scented products like Huxley's), I grew accustomed to it and I now kinda like it.

Anyhoo, that mist was super amazing because it helped to really plump my skin & hydrate it. I used to only spray my Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel at work, but I switched to the Melvita one when I realized it was better. I don't know why, but there's also something about the rose scent that calms my senses when I'm stressed out.

Flash forward to today, my bottle is now super low on product, and although I like it, I don't think I'll be repurchasing it anytime soon (because I...just bought a new phone and I'm broke haha). Luckily, the lovely people from StyleKorean reached out to me and asked if I would like to try out Heimish' Bulgarian Rose Water Mist. Although the product was provided, the thought and opinions are my own honest ones (as always! 😉)

Without further ado, let's get on with the review!

This product is a rose mist that is supposed to soothe troubled skin, provide strong moisturization and supply it with nourishing ingredients. Its also supposed to have a brightening and anti-wrinkle effect.

What's really special about this mist is that it contains 88% Bulgarian rose water, which is the highest percentage of Bulgarian rose water in any mist currently out on the market.

This product is available on StyleKorean for USD24, but it's currently on sale for only USD15.99 (RM62). It comes with 55ml of product, and compared to Melvita's RM145 for 50ml, I think this one is more of a bargain. (Click here to check it out on StyleKorean's website).

The product comes packaged in a pink box, and inside you have a pink plastic bottle with a frosted glass effect. I really like the packaging because it looks simple but expensive & luxurious haha.

The ingredients of this product either have an EWG rating of 1 or two, making all of the ingredients in the green zone:
Some notable ingredients in this product are Niacinamide (which helps with brightening & anti-aging) as well as Adenosine & Citric Acid that both help with anti-agening.

According to Skincarisma.com, this product is especially good for people with dry skin because it contains Glycerin (which is a powerful moisturizer).

I use this like any other mist, which is to hold it at arms length and spray the product on my face. I spend most of my time in the office, and this product has been my current "office mist".

I find the scent of this product really refreshing, and its overall a nice product for a quick boost of hydration in the middle of the day. I'm not sure why, but I've beed wearing makeup more and more to the office recently (usually I just go bare faced), and with all the powder I apply to make sure I stay matte, this product really helps to nourish and give some moisture back into my skin.

Is it the best mist out there? I don't this so, but I think it's definitely a good mist. The spray evenly disperses the product onto my face and I like how it doesn't squirt a goop of product like other mists do.

I've tried to use this as a serum by patting it on, and I think its okay. Not the best night serum, but for the day I think it's great to pat on for extra moisture.

If I come across it with the same promo price of $15.99 on Stylekorean, I'll definitely get it again!

And that's it for this post! I hope you guys found this post interesting and helpful. As always thank you for reading and I'll see you guys in the next post!
