Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing all about the highly-talked about Chanel Factory 5 Collection, as well as the prices here in Malaysia, the launch date + the launch event.

Celebrating 100 years of celebrity in 2021, Chanel launched the limited-edition Factory 5 Collection. With the concept of bringing people inside their factory to show how a legend was born, this collection celebrates a century of their iconic No. 5 fragrance's transformation.

Consisting of 17 limited-edition products. the lust-worthy Chanel Factory 5 Collection features all-white packaging that comes in several fun shapes and sizes:

Since we're all still locked down at home, not all countries will have a pop-up and it's not sure when the collection will launch in each country. Countries like France and Korea celebrated the launch of the collection with a physical event, while Singapore will only be launching the products. 

For my Singaporean readers, it will be exclusively available on July 15 2021 at Chanel Fragrance & Beauty Boutiques in ION Orchard, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, VivoCity, JEM and Raffles City!

For my Malaysian readers, the Chanel Factory 5 Collection will be available in Malaysia nationwide in all Chanel Beauty stores on July 30 2021. Apparently, it will be available in the fashion boutique in KLCC as well!

It's kind of bittersweet seeing all the event photos online on Instagram because it just makes me sad that Malaysia's still stuck :( Just look at how pretty the set up is!

I think the last major Chanel event open to the public was the Coco Game Center back in 2018.

Anyway, the event in Seoul looked super fun, and a lot of my fave idols and celebs were in attendance:

I'll be sharing all about the products + their prices below, and I'll be sharing my thoughts on whether or not they're worth buying.

The centerpiece of this entire collection, I actually think it's not worth buying. Just because there's nothing new with the packaging aside from the white cardboard/plastic packaging. If you like collecting Chanel stuff/packaging I guess that's okay, but I would have preferred if the bottle itself was special, not just the box.

Same goes for this L'eau, nothing special. You can buy it at any time of the year.

Usually available in black, the purse spray has been reimagined in white for this collection. I think this is a cute thing to have in your purse, and it's definitely worth considering.

One of the most highly sought after pieces from this collection! A lot of people were intrigued by the unique cone shape + curious about what's inside.

It actually contains 4 gifts: N°5 L’EAU On Hand Cream, a black and white storage pouch, a white nail file in a black felt sleeve and a towel that unfolds upon contact with water to reveal the N°5 label design.

Definitely cute items you can use on a daily basis.

My top item from this collection! It looks pretty simple (and borderline Taobao-made) but the allure of an official Chanel bottle for that pricepoint makes it irresistible haha.

Do note that someone mentioned that it can't handle hot water, only cold/room temperature. Makes for a cute accessory though!

These two are also standout pieces because of their unique packaging, and it kind of reminds me of the 3CE pail I bought a while back.

The main difference that I gathered online is that the smaller one is actually made of tin, while the bigger one is made of paper/cardboard.

Because of that alone, I think the tin one is much more worth it!

The shower gel is also available in a set of 5 tubes, but I don't think it's that attractive.

The same shower gel is available in a massive 5000ml bottle, and for the price point, it's not bad if you really enjoy the scent and want to use it. For a shower gel, it's definitely more expensive, but for Chanel, 500ml for that price is actually quite reasonable.

Comes in a cute tin, I didn't really like this just because I felt it was the most normal/lack-lustre one. Plus, who uses bar soaps anymore? Granted that people buying this collection are probably just buying to collect and not ever use the products, but RM173 for tiny soap...bye haha.

Depending on you, I think this could be a hit or miss. I actually think tubes of cream that have been squeezed out have their own minimalist appeal to them.

If you're someone who does want to use the products, this would be a good option. You can keep a tube or two for safekeeping/photo purposes and use the others.

I personally don't use body oil, but I think granted that this bottle is opaque and won't change even after use, it's quite a practical option.

Containing delicate flecks of golden sparkle subtly illuminate skin, this gel is another practical option I think.

For the die hard Chanel fans hahaha. You can get the same exact ones from Taobao for a fraction of the price, so I recommend skipping it.

As for the Malaysia launch date, the Chanel Factory 5 Collection will be available in Malaysia nationwide in all Chanel Beauty stores on July 30 2021. Apparently, it will be available in the fashion boutique in KLCC as well! If you have any SA connections, now is the time to give them a ring and try to reserve your picks.

Also, the woven Chanel Bag you keep seeing in this post is a mystery to me. I'm not sure if it's an event gift or a VIP gift, but it seems like a lot of people who bought the collection got it as well,
