Emperor Watch & Jewellery now open in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

December 9, 2021

Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing all about a little soiree I attended with Emperor Watch & Jewellery in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Founded in Hong Kong, Emperor Watch and Jewellery is an internationally acclaimed retailer of the world’s most prestigious timepieces and a manufacturer of trendy and sophisticated jewellery.

In the 1960s, Emperor Watch and Jewellery designed and manufactured jewellery on its own. The creation of Emperor Jewellery is born from a rigorous design process, from Chinese inspiration to contemporary accessories and dazzling masterpieces.

Emperor Jewellery’s opened their first-ever flagship store in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur back in November 2018, and although their Malaysian brand doesn't carry watches, you can currently explore their extensive selection of stunning jewellery.

I was invited to a soireé in Emperor by Datin Waifong, and I had an amazing time chatting with her and getting to know more about Emperor and jewellery in general.

From here on out I'll be sharing about the pieces I got to try on and photograph. If you're a fan of sparkles like me, you're in for a treat!

First up we have this stunning piece:

I was so stunned that I can't remember how many carats it was. But if I remember correctly, I think it's around 3 or 4 million ringgit.

Images and videos don't do it justice! It was super stunning in real life and it really reflected and refracted magically. If you're wondering what to get me for my next birthday, now you know 👀

Next, we have this 5-carat solitaire:

In contrast to the maximum bling of the previous ring, this one is a bit more simple but serves maximum impact. Because it features the stone alone and because the diamond is s huge, you can't help but notice this showstopper.

Emperor carries an extensive selection of diamond rings, including rings for men as well. Here are two stunning selections, a single diamond and a setting of 9 diamonds:

Though the setting of 9 diamonds is cute, I quite liked how nice and simple the single diamond was.

One thing that I think makes Emperor stand out as well is their extensive selection of top tier jade jewellery:

Here I have a super stunning jade ring framed with diamonds. Again, the video doesn't do it justice because it seemed more vibrant and jelly-like in real life!

I learned that jade’s three most important qualities, in order of their impact on its market value, are color, transparency, and texture.

The finest-quality jade is almost transparent with vibrant emerald-green colour with no grayish hues. Its transparency ranges from completely opaque to semitransparent, and the best jade is semitransparent and kind of looks blurry/like a jelly. Semitransparent jade has an alluring brilliance, and it almost appears to glow, increasing the charm of a lush green or rich lavender hue. Jade’s texture can also be fine, medium, or coarse, depending on variations in crystal size and hardness.

Here I have on an ornate dragon brooch, adorned with diamonds and ruby eyes.

Aside from individual and unique designs, Emperor also carries some original lines/series. One of their most popular lines is called the Sunray range:

Designed to imitate the sun's rays, these designs feature a mix of round and circle diamonds arranged in a circular setting.

I think the design is quite unique, and it definitely warrants a second glance because the design isn't very common.

Next we have the Heartbeat line:

I thought that these designs were a bit more fun and a bit more chic, and I think these designs would be perfect to pair with an evening/performance/concert type of outfit haha.

For those looking for more feminine and dainty pieces, I think you'll definitely like the Love Knot line.

Though the plain gold ones with diamond accents are pretty and dainty, I personally prefer the pavé ones!

The last collection I saw was the Blessings Collection, featuring Chinese motifs suitable for daily and casual wear:

At only RM78 a pop, I actually think the bracelets with gold nuggets are great as gifts for friends and family, especially this upcoming CNY.

Oh, what's that gigantic ring you ask? It's this high jewellery creation!

Such a stunning creation!

I had such a great time learning more about diamonds and jewellery in general, and I'm actually planning on coming back again to look for the perfect first diamond to add to my collection.

If you guys are in Pavilion, I highly recommend dropping by to check out their selection and stunning collections.
