Hi guys, today I'll be sharing all about YSL's Libre Eau de Parfum and my 11.11 haul!
Since the launce of this perfume, I've been eyeing it not because of the fragrance, but because of this limited edition perfume bag hahaha:
It was super popular on Instagram, and I just thought that it would be quite a cute thing to own:
A friend of mine recently took some images of DOLLA since YSL Beauty engaged them for a campaign, and the Libre perfume suddenly re-entered my peripheral vision again.
For 11.11, YSL was holding a massive Beauty Records promotional campaign with lots of amazing sets and deals. One of the freebies was actually the bag I was eyeing!
Though I think I'm reaching 15 bottles of perfume on my beside table now, I decided to splurge and get myself a bottle. The Libre fragrance is available in 3 variations: eau de toilette, eau de parfum and eau de parfum intense:
I decided to go for the EDP because it seemed like the best choice. I would have purchased the smaller 30ml version, but since I was after the bag, I went ahead and bought the 50ml.

I placed my order on October 18 and got my order on October 22. The order came packaged nicely and it was actually scented! I loved the unboxing experience, and I love how they gave so many freebies:
The packaging itself is stunning:
It comes in a geometric bottle with a cutout on the Y. I love how luxurious it looks, and the neck of the bottle looks like its wearing a stack of golden pearl necklaces.

Scent-wise, I do think it's slightly darker than my usual preference in perfume. It's a slightly more mature fragrance which I think women around 26-40 would enjoy during the evening. I would say that this does smell a bit more feminine, but not in a floral way. It's more of a seductive scent that oozes maturity/seriousness.
One spritz goes a long was and lingers for so long! It's a strong fragrance that I think will last quite a while, so I think getting a smaller bottle will actually be adequate enough.
As for the reason I bought this, I was kind of disappointed when the bag I got didn't have straps. Apparently for this round, they only gave away perfume box cases, not bags. I can still go and buy a chain and attach it myself, but I thought that it was quite a bummer since I was expecting to be able to use it for an OOTD soon haha.
However, they did give a lot of free samples/mini which I do appreciate.
