They recently sent over some of their new cakes forme to try out, and today I'll be sharing my thoughts about them with you guys

Earl Grey Burnt Cheesecake 6"
RM79 • Link

Described as aromatic, rich and creamy, this burnt cheesecake is infused with Earl Grey tea and leaves a subtle aftertaste to lighten the overall taste.

I found this cake nice because the flavour was light and not too heavy. It's not as soft as other cheesecakes, and it definitely has a bit of weight to it.

I would highly recommend it to those looking for a light afternoon dessert, or if you're looking for something that won't be too overpowering. I. particularly think more mature dessert lovers will love this because it's pretty mild but it still hits that sweet spot!

Durian Mille Crepe Cake 9"
RM160 • Link

I was most excited to try this among all the cakes I got because I'm a total durian lover! I love the taste of durian but I think it's tastes even better in cakes, cream puffs, ice cream and other forms of chilled dessert.

This one was definitely a treat, and the mill crepe gave it an added layer (lol no pun intended) of delight. The texture of the layers/crepes weren't rubbery, and they were just nice. It was the perfect amount of creamy and crumbly (the toppings), and the flavour of the Durian Seedless Kampung Custard & the Durian Whipped Cream were not overpowering as well.

Double Chocolate Brownies 10"
RM150 • Link

A fave of many around the world, I would say I'm quite the brownie connoisseur. I don't like it when brownies are dry or if they're just plain-out bland, and I've been stung multiple times by my past brownie orders on Grab.

Made with Dark Converture Chocolate, these brownies are not only dark and moist, but they're also rich and fudgy!

If you want, you can even heat them up + serve with vanilla ice cream for the perfect dinner dessert. I prefer them on their own so I can savour the chocolate goodness all on its own. I shared these with my friend Anis and she agrees as well that these brownies are just divine!

Overall I was really happy with this round of new releases from Eatcaketoday, and I would say their quality is still as good and as high as when I first tried their desserts. Everything tastes amazing, and their prices are actually really good and competitive.

If you're looking to buy some cakes for a special occasion or just to treat yourself, check out their website today or drop by their newly opened physical store in The Starling Mall!

And that's it for this post! I hope you guys found it helpful and informative.

See y'all in my next post!
