Hi guys! Today I'm here to share my thoughts and review on the 2020 Diormania Limited Edition version of the Dior Forever Couture Perfect Cushion!

This cushion is actually a limited edition version of their Forever Couture Perfect Cushion (which comes in a pleather cannage design). As vintage fashion trends return, logomania and monograms have made a comeback as well.

Released last year, I deliberated so hard on whether or not I wanted to get on of these because they released it in only 4 shades. That put me off so much that I didn't even step into the store to swatch it. It soon went out of stock, and it eventually left my mind.

A few weeks back, however, Dior announced that they would be dropping a new wave of stock. I decided to just get one to collect even if I wouldn't be able to use it, but to my surprise, the darkest shade (3N) seemed like an ok match!

As I mentioned, these limited edition cushions are only available in 4 shades (namely 0, 1N, 2N and 3N).

You can, however, buy a refill from Dior. The saleslady mentioned that I could buy darker refils later on, but after checking the website...sis, 3N is the darkest shade for their cushions lol.

I already came prepared knowing that I might not be using the cushion at all, so I guess swatching it made me feel like...okay, it won't be a total waste of money.

FYI, the normal version retails for RM245 and the limited edition retails for RM265.

I did manage to get a few samples and free gifts, and the sales associates were pretty nice and friendly. They even offered to wrap my cushion up, to which I agreed to:

Here's what the box looks like:

And tadah, here's the cushion!

The cushion's packaging is slightly...quilted? It's very nice to the touch, and it almost feels like canvas.

I have to admit that the smalls details are pretty nice, especially this FOREVER under the puff:

Like all cushions, the cushion foundation itself comes sealed at first:

And here's a close-up:

After swatching it in better lighting conditions, I realized that it was of a pink undertone (I have a yellow undertone) and it's a shade lighter than what I would usually go for. In pictures, it just looks like I'm wearing a slightly lighter shade for my true shade.

To be honest, it's workable and I can adjust it, but I don't think I'll be using this regularly haha. Purely bought it to collect. The scent of the foundation is quite apparent (though it fades after a while), and the finish is actually very nice and skin-like. For coverage, it's ok, buildable but you'll definitely need concealer if you have any scars/pimples/dark marks. Overall I'd say it's an ok cushion for someone with good skin.

And that's it for this post! Thanks for dropping by my blog, see ya next time!
