Gucci Bracelet with Double GG in Silver Review

June 3, 2020

Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing my unboxing and review of Gucci's Double GG in Silver.

I've actually shared a video on my Youtube channel, and you can watch it here:

I usually wear my Trollbeads bracelet, and I've grown to love it a lot. I think the aged/vintage-looking silver really matches well with my skin tone (compared to bright/white silver), and I love mixing in matching my beads from time to time as well.

I love teh quality too because although I've accidentally put it in the washing machine once, the damage was minimal and tbh adds to its manly/rugged effect. Have to admit it hurt the next few days after that incident tho haha.

As of late, I've been wearing only the coin:

One day, I decided to search what aged silver jewelry high-end brands had, and I came across this one:

I really liked what I saw on their website so I decided to drop by KLCC to check it out.

Made with bi-color 925 sterling silver in Italy, this bracelet has an aged finish and features a 3D double G and stripes motif. It's also crafted from hypoallergenic and nickel-free materials!

At RM1670, it's actually cheaper here in Malaysia than the US website's price of USD430. It's almost the price of my Trollbeads bracelet (with the beads and lock included), and I honestly think that for a solid, branded silver bracelet, I think it's not a bad buy!

There's also a matching ring which the SA recommend I try out as well. I think the design of both the bracelet and the ring is reminiscent on Chrome Hearts a bit, but I personally prefer the GGs. I tink CH's stuff is quite nice too, but I think te GGs look slightly simpler.

I decided to get the bracelet (which is really more of a bangle), and you can see my full unboxing in the video above.

To put it on, I just simply pop it on! The SA said you can slightly bend it to tighten/loosen it, but I found that it was a perfect match for my wrist and I didn't need to alter it at all.

Engraved inside is the size (mine is 17) and the Gucci logo:

The double Gs adorn the front of the bracelet, and the size 17 version contains 11 small GGs and 2 big GGs at the end. I don't really mind the 13 as I don't believe in unlucky numbers, but I did think it would be a fun little note to mention.

Although I would have appreciated a pillow for me to keep the bracelet in, it didn't really come with anything else for storage aside from this cute dumpling looking pouch. The pouch also has the pink Gucci snake motif, and as y'all know, I'm a sucker for packaging.

And that's it for this post! So far I've been loving wearing the bracelet. Since it matches with almost my entire wardrobe, I have no issues with it at all. I'm still thinking whether or not I should get the ring to complete the set. Hmmmm.

Anyhoo, thanks for dropping by my blog, see ya in my next post!
