Luxe Window Shopping: Coach, Louis Vuitton, Gucci

May 31, 2020

Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing all about my recent luxe window shopping trip!

Just a reminder to everybody, please stay safe! Like I mentioned in my previous window shopping post, I know this isn't exactly the best time to be out and about. I visited malls mostly when I expected the crowd to be at its minimum and tried to keep my distance as much as possible (and of course, wearing a face mask).

I've been cooped up for so long that I thought a little window shopping to wash my eyes couldn't hurt.

Before you read on, I did an unboxing of my new Kat Camera Bag in Colorblock from Coach, and you can check that out here. You can also read about my Coach personal shopping service and how you can get 10% off storewide (yes even on sale items) by clicking here.

Without further ado, here are some of the things I've currently got my eyes on + tried on!

COACH
C143 Runner

I actually bought this lol. I came across it in Pavilion, where the sale selection for Coach was so far the largest (compared to KLCC and Gardens). I found out that for ready to wear/shoes, Coach Malaysia usually only brings in 1 stock of each size. For these specific shoes, all other sizes had been sold and it was the only one left.

It was in my size and after all discounts, it came up to only RM714. I couldn't resist and caved in haha. In my defence, my RM500 JD shoe haul didn't go through during MCO, so that money went to this.

I'm so happy that I didn't but those basic shoes back then. I love the burgundy purple + the olive green, totally matches my vibe.

COACH
Pont 9

The day after these bags were announced, I dropped by LV to check it out. One reason was that I was already in KLCC, but another was because I was quite intrigued by the pics I saw all over Instagram

LV isn't selling them yet, but you can view the display units which still have plastic over the hardware lol. Interested parties can put in a full deposit of RM17k for it, and...I wasn't it sis haha.

The Pont 9 features the LV Circle, a classic LV signature reinterpreted by their creative director Nicolas Ghesquière.

I knew that the leather/finish was smooth, but what surprised me was how soft it was! I was told that it's padded, and it was honest super nice to the touch. The inside is similar to the pochette metis, sans one back pocket.

Pretty cute bag, just not my price point at the moment haha.

LOUIS VUITTON
Pont 9 Compact Wallet

Also available in wallet form, the Pont 9 Compact Wallet is a cute statement piece. Not sure how the smooth calf leather will fare with daily use, but it's super cute.

Another reason why I decided to visit LV was also because I wanted to check out the New Wave Compact Wallet!

LOUIS VUITTON
New Wave Compact Wallet

Exactly similar in card slots/compartments to the new Pont 9 one, this one is part of the New Wave line. I first came aware of the New Wave line after a model I worked with was using a New Wave belt bag. I search it up and instantly fell in love. It kind of reminds me of Gucci's Marmont line. I was actually interested in the wallet from that line, but this is so much prettier in my opinion!

The logo is bigger/bolder, and it features quite a nice amount of compartments (almost similar to the Coach one I'm using right now).

I think what sets LV's New Wave line apart from Gucci's Marmont line is the funky vintage-looking text. Written in rainbow, the wallet features it on the zip:

For the bags it comes as a detachable top handle, and I really like the font + the vibe it gives!

At RM3.7k, they're definitely on my wishlist right now. Hopefully I'll get to upgrade to her soon!

On my way out of LV I noticed these sneakers that looked like a legit carbon copy of Dior's oblique sneakers lol. Even the pink version!

GUCCI
Gucci Bracelet With Double G in Silver

During one random lunch time, I searched up what kind of silver jewellery Gucci had. Since I'm a fan of aged silver, I really liked what I saw on their website. This one in particular caught my eye, so I decided to drop by and check it out.

It's a bangle that features their Marmont double Gs, and I think it's so cute!

At RM1670, it's actually cheaper here in Malaysia than the US website's price of USD430. It's almost the price of my Trollbeads bracelet (with the beads and lock included), and I honestly think that for a solid, branded silver bracelet, I think it's not a bad buy!

See how it matches my silver haha.

GUCCI
Gucci Ring With Double G in Silver

There's also a matching ring which the SA recommend I try out as well. I think the design of both the bracelet and the ring is reminiscent on Chrome Hearts a bit, but I personally prefer the GGs. I tink CH's stuff is quite nice too, but I think te GGs look slightly simpler.

If you'd like to know, the ring is RM1020!

And that's it! I think I should stop procrastinating and start taking pics/content haha.

Thanks for dropping by my blog, see ya in my next post!
