Shizens Visage Collection

April 15, 2017

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I'll be sharing all about Shizens' latest makeup collection: The Visage Collection!

First thing I thought of when I saw the word "visage" was Michele Visage haha

Anyways, "visage" actually means "face" in French, and Shizens' latest collection is literally that: products to help you achieve the best face. Shizenz believes everyone has unique natural beauty, and their latest collection comprises of both skincare and makeup products.

There's a total of 9 products in the collection (3 skincare and 6 makeup) and they also introduced a few makeup brushes as well.

I received 4 makeup products from the collection and they come very sleekly packaged.

I really like their gold and bronze packaging: very luxurious!

I'll be sharing with you guys below some of my thoughts on each of the products 😊 (I'll also be updating this post with pics of the swatches soon 😅 I left them in my SD card in KL hahaha)

1. Natural Pore Nutrient Foundation

This is a 100% talc-free foundation and it's extremely lightweight and works well against fine lines and imperfections. I love the sleek bronze packaging!

It's a cream stick foundation and you twist it out to get the product:

At the center of the foundation stick is an interesting design, and this is actually enriched with skincare goodies like Vitamin E and Jojoba oil.

Since it only comes in one shade and is quite light for my whole face, I used it as a highlighter to highlight my under eyes and the points of my face that I want to bring out (like my forehead, nose bridge, and chin)

I actually really like the finish! It's slightly dewy and looks very fresh and natural. The formula was very easy to blend out with a makeup sponge and as it said, it was super weightless on the skin. I set my under eyes with powder and it didn't crease at all! Love this!

2. Smack Lips (Orange Tango)

I've been loving lip tints recently and this one really surprised me. I never thought orange would look good on me! The pigmentation is great, and if you leave it full on your lips, it dries down to a matte finish that DOES NOT BUDGE! Cray cray!

If you're someone like me who prefers a natural lip, you can add the smallest of dots (because its so pigmented) and spread it onto your lips for that Korean gradient effect.

I have very dry lips, and this lip product contains both coconut oil and sunflower butter to help combat that. Again, another product I love!

3. Shizens Aqua Eyeliner

This one is one of their latest products, and it is a cushion type liquid eyeliner which is smudge-proof and long wearing (for up to 12 hours)

The packaging really fooled be, because before peeling it off I thought it would be a creme type product (like ABH)

But once you look inside, you'll see the sponge!

It comes with a brush and you can either use it or your own angled brush. The sponge comes very soaked with the product and you don't have to dip in a lot to get product out. The lines that you can make with this are natually brown (for that natural look) and it had a nice, smooth application.

4. Hue-Duo Eye Shadow

Last but not least it this Hue-duo eyeshadow! I think this one comes in different colours as well.

The combo I got specifically was dual purpose because you can use it as a blush as well! They have nice pigmentation (like from one swatch you can already see the color payoff!)

Sorry again for the lack of swatch photos, shall update this post soon!

Overall the products in this collection were unexpectedly good! I quite liked the foundation (for highlighting) and the lip product!

Shizens is actually having limited time offer right now. They're offering the Visage Essentials set with 5 products as 6 brushes as shown below!

All the products above originally cost RM1503, but you can now get it at only RM199! That's almost a 90% discount! I think its a very good deal and you should definitely take advantage of it if you're interested in trying out the products.

You can also claim a free Visage Makeover using my unique code VISAGE01 at major Shizens stores like their Pavilion flagship store, Mid Valley, One Utama, Sunway Pyramid, Gurney Plaza, Genting Sky Avenue, Isetan KLCC, Isetan Gardens, Parkson KLCC, Parkson Pavillion and Sogo KL.
