GFRIEND - SNOWFLAKE [MV/MP3/DL/TEASER PHOTOS]

I was supposed to spend this long weekend working on my assignments and reviews/posts, but college life has been a bit hectic theses few days. As I mentioned in my Biotherm post there have been times where I've slept for 12 hours (from 7pm to 7am, can you imagine?) and let's just say that I've had more than that this past few days. I don't know why, either its just me being lazy or my body's just shutting down.

Anyway, a few weeks back I saw news that  Gfriend was coming back with another new album! I LIVE for Gfriend and all of their songs. G;ass Bead is literally the number 1 most played song in my iTunes, surpassing even Indestructable, RDR, Genie and I Got a Boy. Me Gustas Tu has also been a have of mine and all their other songs aside from these two title songs are actually really nice and catchy!

I went onto YouTube and actually stumbled upon their highlight medley and the video came with their teaser photos. My first impression was wow, Yerin looks soooo different! I think its because she ditched her bangs for a middle part. I don't really know how I feel about her hair right now hahahahaha

After getting past the gorgeous photos, I came to the impression that the concept for this album was quite nice, but still similar and schoolgirl-ish like Glass Bead and Me Gustas Tu (although this time they're in a fancy ang moh school).

After watching the highlight medley, I came across the MV for Rough! This just goes to show how unconnected with the Kpop world I am right now. Sigh. I usually only see Kpop news through Facebook and I don't go on Facebook that often...anyway, here's the MV for Rough!

The song also sounds similar to Glass Bead and Me Gustas Tu (all three songs have the same vibe, kinda like Ailee's songs do) and I don't really mind. I've come to love that kind of ITNW build up kind of feel and although all three title songs sound similar, this new song sounds more dramatic and angsty.

The dance was also something I looked forward to and I was not disappointed! Gfriend to me stand out because their dances aren't super girly and they dance really well! Can't wait for them to be on Weekly Idol again ^^ I also hope they release a dance version soon!

I only just downloaded the album, so I haven't listened to the other tracks yet. I'll update this post if anything stands out ^^

Oh, and by the way, if I were to choose a bias in Gfriend right now, it would be between Yuju and Sowon. Yuju's voice is just.,....ughhh so nice! And Sowon just has a mature feel about her, someone who I wouldn't mind being friends with. I like Yerin, SinB, Eunha and Umji as well too (though I fee; so old whenever I look at them. Sigh),
