Hi guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I'll be sharing all about Make Up Forever's holiday get-together and the launch of the brand new Artist Lip Shot Long Lasting Lip Lacquer!
Last Saturday I dropped by Make Up Forever's Pavilion store to celebrate the holiday season, catch up with some beauty blogger friends as well as to discover MUFE's new product launches.
Among the new products there that day was the Artist Lip Shot:
This breakthrough lipstick formula combines the intensity of a lipstick with the shine of lacquer in an easy-to-use click pen format that lets you apply the ideal dose of intense colour and shine for your lips. Its stylo packaging with a thin, angled tip ensures mistake-proof application in just one stroke.
The Artist Lip Shot is now available in Make Up Forever + Sephora for RM94!
I love a cute shiny lip, so I had to try it. Among the 12 shades (which included pinks, corals and reds), I decided to go for this MLBB shade called 101 Excessive Nude.
It was super easy to apply! For a more precise application, you can also use a lip brush like how the makeup artist did for me. The shine is super nice and I love how comfy/non-sticky it is on the lips!
There was a makeup demo as well where we saw how to create a fun festive look featuring MUFE's products. One product in particular which I found really interesting was the Aqua Seal, MUFE's secret weapon designed to turn all types of eye makeup and pencils into waterproof textures.
For that day's makeup look, the makeup artist mixed the Aqua Seal with MUFE's Starlit Diamond Powder and applied it with a unique silicone applicator brush.
Of course we had to use the Artist Lip Shots as well, and here's what the finished look looks like!
I was really impressed by how versatile the Starlit Diamond Powder was and how fine it looked. I used it as a highlighter after the makeup demo and it looked so blinding and holographic on my skin!
After the demo, I tried my hand at MUFE's holiday claw machine and got myself a Starbucks card!
