Singapore 2019 Weekend Trip

November 10, 2019

Hi guys! Today I'm here to share a few snaps from my recent Singapore weekend trip.

I actually filmed a vlog, so if you fancy watching instead of reading, you can click below to watch it:

Since it's a bit redundant to write about the vlog, I'm just going to share some more pictures here since I thought it would be a waste not to post them.

So I woke up really early and got a 5am flight cuz expected to see the sunrise. Unfortunately, the sky just turned blue, and I did not get to see an eggyolk sunrise haha.

I touched down in Singapore and got to see Jewel and their now-famous fountain!

I heard it recycles rainwater, which is great.

After having a quick breakfast at the airport, I headed over to The Ritz.

Since my room was not yet ready, they offered to take my luggage first and bring it up when the room was done. I also took a quick shower in their gym/spa area:

After freshening up and doing my makeup, I met up with my friend Sammi! She took me to Marina Bay Sands:

Our first stop at Gardens by the Bay was the Flower Dome

Here you can take a walk around a wide selection of the world's flowers & plants. They do monthly highlights on specific plants & flowers too, and they're quite popular on Instagram.

The entire dome is cool, and you don't have to worry about sweating. It was nice being surrounded by so many flowers, and I think it was the first time I actually got to smell flowers that fragrant!

I think my grandma would have really enjoyed this place, and I hope I can visit it with her someday.

After the Flower Dome, we headed to the Cloud Forest.

Consisting of rare plants and hidden floral gems, this unique mountain is veiled and covered in mist.

It wasn't that misty when we visited, but it was still very cool inside.

Here's a lucky shot of me alone on the bridge!

And here's what the crowd looked like that day haha:

After walking around Gardens by the Bay, Sammi and I had lunch and went window shopping at Marina Bay Sands. After that, I got the message that my room was ready so we headed back to the Ritz.

My room's view was spectacular, and you could see almost the entire Singapore skyline:

Here's what my room looked like:

And here's the bathroom!

If you want to read more about the room + all about my stay at the Ritz, click here to see my review.

After resting for a while and taking some pictures, Sammi and I headed over to Orchard for more shopping.

In the end, I couldn't find the Charles & Keith bag I was hunting for. We passed by a Yellow Cab (which I haven't seen for a good 10 years) and decided to buy some back.

We had dinner back in my room, and I got to enjoy time with one of my BFFs with amazing truffle fries and a breathtaking night view of Singapore.

The next day I checked out and went for my appointment, and I got to meet Soo there as well!

I had to take a flight on that night itself, so after my appointment, I headed back to Changi.

Sammi very kindly sent me off, and we had Shake Shack before my flight!

I also managed to catch the night fountain show at Jewel.

In the end, Sammi surprised me with a mini cake and a prize!! So touched T.T

After saying our goodbyes, I set off on my way back to KL~

Sorry if this post is a bit dry. I wasn't even going to blog about it since it was such a short trip, but the pics turned out super nice.

If you haven't already, check out my vlog as well to see how the whole trip went down!

And that's it for this post! Thanks for dropping by my blog, see ya next time!
