April 17, 2017

Hi guys, welcome back to another Cafe Hopping post! In this episode, my brother Euri and I had a late lunch at the Wild Sheep Chase Cafe.

The cafe is located on the second floor above some shop lots around Desa Business Park. I forgot to take a picture of the exterior of the cafe, so sorry 'bout that! 😅

This cafe opened its doors last year and HOMG, I was so happy as soon as I stepped in. Wanna know why?

It's because the whole place is so damn Instagrammable! The place was so bright and picture perfect, like I cannot  😭 (Just a heads up, this post is gonna be full of pictures because I couldn't choose which one to post)

You can choose to sit in any of the tables or by the "bar" near the kitchen:

Or you can sit by the windows, where there's an array of Instagrammable magazines perfect for flatlays:

I actually found out about this place through my fellow blogger Carinn who visited the cafe with her friends a few weeks back. I remember going "wahhh where is this cafe I need to know!" 😂

Do follow her on Insta!

Anyways, there are lots of magazines and flowers around the cafe which you can use for pictures/flatlas/props.

Okay, that's enough pictures of the cafe, on with the menu!

The food menu was actually quite limited and there's wasn't a lot of selection~

I would say the prices are average cafe prices too~

FOOD PORN SHOTS

Tomato Pasta with Fried Seabass | RM22

As you can see, the sea bass was pretty big! The whole dish was pretty good, but I wouldn't say it was anything too far from the ordinary. I'd say the best thing about this dish was that it came with a good price-portion ratio.

Ciabatta Sandwich with Omelette | RM14

This was another nicely priced dish! For RM14 I was totally expecting the sandwich to be smaller. The veggies on the side were nicely sauteed (I think they sauteed it haha), and it would make a great brunch/breakfast meal. It was quite filling and tasted good too.

Vanilla Souffle RM17

On of their most requested desserts, this souffle was sinfully soft and sweet! I made the unfortunate mistake of taking too long to take pics and the souffle kinda dropped before we could dig in~ It was still pretty good, and the tangy/sour sherbet went nicely with it.

Queen Juliana | RM14

Earl Grey Milk Tea RM10 (Hot) RM12 (Cold)

The drinks were nice, and it this point you're probably asking yourself: "Eros, is why u being a boring blogger and just saying everything is nice?". I actually find most of their items alright, nothing too special. The price and portions are good, but what I enjoyed the most during my visit there was the place and the atmosphere. I guess I would recommend this cafe to fellow millennials who want somewhere Instagrammable to hang out with their friends and take pictures.

By the way, our late lunch came up to RM77, so there's no GST & additional service charge added.

And that's it for this post! As always, thanks so much reading through 😍 See y'all in the next post!
