Last night I attended the launch of Pure Beauty's latest skincare range: The Pomegranate Urban Shield range! I've never tried Pure Beauty products before, and the launch was the perfect opportunity for me to familiarize myself with the brand.
Pure Beauty is a brand developed and made in Korea, and with a promise to use the best natural ingredients with the latest science, they've come up with a new skincare line jam packed with anti-oxidants to target the damage done to our skin by pollution.
The product launch was held in Glasshouse at Seputeh but unfortunately I reached the event late because of the traffic jam.
It started at 6.30 with the official launch of the line, followed by a chit chat session with Maya Karin.
The upgraded formula of Pure Beauty's newest line specifically targets tired skin and lack luster complexion due to living in a polluted environment like the city. Living and working in KL for more than 6 months now, I do think that I need to take extra care of my skin, especially since I'm so acne prone.
Anyhoo, back to the event. Although I missed the first half of the event, I managed to catch the second half which was the product demonstration. The lady explaining was very thorough and informative about the importance of skincare, the benefits of the line and how the products should be used.
In total the range comes with 8 products that are all really affordable.
The prices range from RM15.90 to RM69.90 but if you're an avid Watsons fan, you know they always have discounts (the makeup wipes can go for as low as RM12!
The new range includes fermented pomegranate extract which is a powerful antioxidant that hydrates the skin and evens out skin tone. It also has Phyto-Placenta for wrinkles and IBR patented ingredients to boost the skin's natural defenses and provide protection from oxidative damage and prevent signs of aging.
Among all the products I was most intrigued by the sunblock and the serum, because one of the tips the lady demonstrating the products said was that you should always wear sunblock. I already knew that, but lately I haven't been very diligent with my sunblock (I was also kinda running low).
All the guests from yesterday's event received a goodie bag with 3 products from the Pomegranate Urban Shield line, and it was really a stroke of luck that inside the goodie bag I got the Clarifying Foaming Cleanser, the Protective Day Lotion SPF20 and the Reviving Serum!
I'll definitely be using the products and I can't wait to see what results they'll give me.
Light refreshments were served after the event and I got to chat with some familiar faces. Juiceee was there to serve drinks as well and I loved their pomegranate drink homg.
